The primary focus of the seminar is to go through as many exam-like questions that are in Grant's book as possible in the time allotted.  If you have any edition of Grant's Intro Calculus book, be sure to bring it with you, as all the questions Grant discusses will be in that book.

The topics we will cover are:

  • Curve-Sketching (Grant may start the seminar with this topic)
  • Antiderivatives and Definite & Indefinite Integrals with applications
  • Max/Min Word Problems (also called optimization problems)
If you do not have a copy of Grant's Intro Calculus book be sure to download the handout below containing the questions Grant will discuss.  There is no need to download this handout if you have Grant's book.
