Published: Fri, 01/30/15

The average mark for this upcoming midterm exam has been below 60% the last couple of years.  Don't take this exam lightly!  They expect you to be able to "think outside the box" on the exam.

There is still time to register for the seminar!
Space is available.
$40 at the door.
In case you haven't found the Practice Exams they have posted in StatsPortal, or D2L if you are in distance, here is a link where you can download them.
Worksheet Versions of the Two Sample Exams
Here is my worksheet version of each of the two sample exams that I prepared for my seminar.  This puts one question on every page and leaves you room to scribble whatever notes and calculations you desire as you work out each question.

I will be working through both of these Sample Exams at my seminar on Saturday.  Students who attend will get a complete set of solutions to these exams, and the audio of me working through both practice exams.  If you plan to attend the seminar, you may want to print out these worksheets to bring with you and make whatever notes you wish.
My Midterm Exam Prep Seminar for Stat 1000 is Saturday, January 31.  It is NOT on campus.  It is held at Canadian Mennonite University, on the SOUTH side of Grant Ave., at 600 Shaftesbury Blvd.  In the Lecture Hall.  It costs $40.
