I would really appreciate it if you could spread the word to your friends and classmates that my final exam prep seminar for Stat 1000 is this weekend, April 5 and 6. I have not been able to get any posters or leaflets out to help advertize due to my wife's health problems (she usually
takes care of that stuff for me). I am worried that many students who would benefit from the seminar won't even be aware that it is going on.
On April 5, I will be covering Lesson 8: Confidence Intervals for the Mean and Lesson 9: Hypothesis Tests for the Mean.
On April 6, I will be continue with Lesson 9 if necessary, and cover Lesson 10: Comparing Two Means and Lesson 11: Inference about Proportion. I will also
go through at least one of the sample final exams that they will post on StatsPortal as the end of term approaches.
The seminar runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, in Room 100, St. Paul's College, UM campus. You can come to one day for $40 or both days for $60 total. If you have a coupon, you will be able to come for half-price too.
