Stat 2000: Grant's Midterm Seminar is March 1 and 2.

Published: Fri, 02/28/14

I wanted to make sure you are aware that my midterm exam prep seminar is on the weekend of  Mar. 1 and 2.

On Mar. 1, I will be covering from my book Lesson 1: Confidence Intervals for the Mean, Lesson 2: Hypothesis Tests for the Mean, Lesson 3: Errors in Hypothesis Testing, and Lesson 4: Inferences for Two Means (if time allows).

On Mar. 2, I will complete Lesson 4: Inferences for Two Means, and also do Lesson 5: Analysis of Variance and go through the Probability Handouts that I sent you which are not contained in my book.  I will also do part of Lesson 6: Discrete Probabilities including the Binomial and Poisson Probabilities. I will also go through a sample midterm exam.

The seminar runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, in room 100 St. Paul's College.  You can come to one day for $40 or both days for $60 total.  If you have a coupon, you will be able to come for half-price too.
Note that you do not pay when you sign up for the seminar.  You pay at the door, by cash or cheque to "Grant's Tutoring".  To get more info about the seminar and/or to sign up, click this link:
