Math 1520: Grant's Midterm Seminar is this weekend, Feb. 22 and Feb. 23.

Published: Tue, 02/18/14

I wanted to make sure you are aware that my midterm exam prep seminar is coming soon.  Part 1 will be on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Part 2 will be Sunday, Feb. 23.  Sorry, that means the seminar is at the tail end of your Midterm Break, but needs must.

On Feb. 22, I will be covering from my book Lesson 4: Limits, Lesson 5: Continuity, Lesson 6: Definition of Derivative, and I will introduce Lesson 7: The Differentiation Rules.

On Feb. 23, I will be covering more of Lesson 7: Differentiation Rules.  Those of you in Math 1520 will only need to attend for a couple of hours (approximately 9:00 to 11:00) on Sunday.

The seminar runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, in room 100 St. Paul's College.  Since there is only a couple of hours on Sunday, anyway who comes on Saturday ($40 entrance fee) will be able to attend the Sunday morning session for FREE!

Also note that, the seminar will not discuss Lesson 2: Cost & Revenue; Supply & Demand nor Lesson 3: Logs and Exponentials, but everyone who attends the seminar will receive my audio lectures teaching those two lessons at no extra cost.
Note that you do not pay when you sign up for the seminar.  You pay at the door, by cash or cheque to "Grant's Tutoring".  To get more info about the seminar and/or to sign up, click this link:
