Sorry, I am a little behind after a hectic period and a bad cold this week, so I am not ready to take exam prep registrations yet, but I thought I would let you know the dates I am planning.
Stat 1000 will be on Saturday, Nov. 30 (Part 1) and Thursday, Dec. 5 (Part 2). I intend to teach Lessons 8 and 9 on Nov. 30, then do Lessons 10 and 11 (which are much shorter lessons) on Dec. 5 and devote at least 3 hours to going through the Practice Final Exams. Seminars will run 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.
Calculus (Math 1500, 1510 and 1520)
will be on Sunday, Dec. 1 (Part 1) and Sunday, Dec. 8 (Part 2). I intend to do Curve-Sketching and Log & Exponential Derivatives on Dec. 1. I may also do more if time allows. On Dec. 8 I will do Antiderivatives and Integrals and Max/Min Word Problems. I will also do some Practice Exams if time allows. Seminars will run 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.
Unfortunately, I do not see a viable way to offer a Stat 2000 final exam seminar. I was very disappointed by the turnout at the midterm seminar, and the close proximity of the exam to the other exams that do have demand for seminars is causing me scheduling difficulties. If you are very interested in a Stat 2000 seminar, perhaps a one-day one where I would focus on the Practice Final Exams, please reply to this email. If I perceive a demand, I may be encouraged to offer one.
Of course, there will be no seminar in
Math 1300, 1310 or 1700. I do offer audio lectures for all these courses though, if you are interested.
