I wanted to make sure you are aware that my second midterm exam prep seminar is coming up the weekend of Nov. 2 and 3.
Please note that this seminar will NOT be on the UM campus due to a Bomber game. The seminar will be held at the
Lecture Hall, Canadian Mennonite University, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd. That is the building on the
south side of Grant Ave. (not the north side which is 500 Shaftesbury). Which is to say the same side of Grant as the Mennonite Heritage Centre as shown at this link:
There is free parking in the lot right by the building, and the Lecture Hall is quite easy to find. As you enter the main doors at 500 Shaftesbury (South side of building by the parking lot), you will see the Lecture Hall is on your left.
On
Nov. 2, I will be covering
Lesson 4: Density Curves and the Normal Distribution and
Lesson 7: The Distribution of the Sample Mean.
On
Nov. 3, I will be covering
Lesson 5: Introduction to Probability and
Lesson 6: The Binomial Distribution.
I will also go through a
sample midterm exam.
The seminar runs from
9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, in
the Lecture Hall, Canadian Mennonite University, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd. You can come to one day for $40 or both days for $60 total. If you have a coupon, you will be able to come for half-price too.
