I wanted to make sure you are aware that my midterm exam prep seminar is coming up this weekend, Oct. 26 and 27.
On Oct. 26, I will be covering from my book Lesson 1: Confidence Intervals for the Mean, Lesson 2: Hypothesis Tests for the Mean, Lesson 3: Errors in Hypothesis Testing, and Lesson 4: Inferences for Two Means (if time allows).
On Oct. 27, I will complete Lesson 4: Inferences for Two Means, and also do Lesson 5: Analysis of Variance and Lesson 6: Discrete Probabilities including the Binomial and Poisson Probabilities. I will also go through a sample midterm exam.
Do note that I will adjust the topics in the seminar if it appears they will be omitted from the exam. Once again, it looks like they are behind, so it is quite possible that Lesson 6 may not be included on the midterm, in which case, I will not discuss it at the seminar.
The seminar runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, in room 100 St. Paul's College. You can come to one day for $40 or both days for $60 total. If you have a coupon, you will be able to come for half-price too.
