Note that you need to study Lesson 3 (Matrix Math), Lesson 4 (Inverse Matrices), and Lesson 10 (Leontief Models) from my Matrices for Management book to prepare for this assignment.

I think you should find this assignment fairly straightforward if you do thoroughly study and do all the Practise Problems I give you in Lessons 3, 4 and 10.  Note that, to solve M in question 2, you should first isolate M algebraically by moving the various terms in the equation around and applying the various properties of inverse and transpose I demonstrate in Lessons 3 and 4.
