I just wanted to make sure that all of you are aware that I will be teaching the new topics added to the course this term which are not included in my book.

 

That means, my seminar will cover:

 

Lesson 9: Vectors

Lesson 10: Equations of Lines and Planes

 

Then I will spend the rest of the time on Linear Transformations and Eigenvalues & Eigenvectors.  I also intend to have additional notes ready to handout on those topics.

 

If I can somehow figure out a way, I would like to try to cover Lesson 12: Linear Independence for the benefit of those of you taking the distance version of the course.  Anyone who is in distance and attends the seminar, will be sent complete audio lectures of Lesson 12 and Lesson 13 in my book.  (I won't bother to send you Lesson 11: Vector Spaces and Subspaces since they seem to never put it on the distance exam, thank goodness.)
