Here are some tips to help you with Assignment 1 if you are taking Math 1300 via distance/online.
Please note that the distance course goes in a different order from my book.
I suggest that you first study Lesson 1 in my book. That gives you some useful review from High School that will stand you in good stead for the next couple of assignments.
Then, proceed to study Lesson 9 (Vectors). That is the lesson assignment 1 concentrates on.
You will need to study Lesson 10 (Equations of Lines and Planes) to prepare for assignment 2.
