Tentative Final Exam Prep Schedule

Published: Mon, 03/12/12

Hi ,

I would appreciate it if you would forward this message to anyone you know who is taking any of the courses below so that I can get maximum input in possible dates for my seminars in Calculus, Statistics, and Linear Algebra. Thank you, in advance.

I must confess that it is proving very difficult for me to schedule my final exam prep seminars this term.  What with Easter Weekend, and the fact that students taking the course by distance are often writing their exam as much as a week earlier or later than the classroom lecture students.  Here is what I have come up with.  I would appreciate your reply to let me know if you think the dates work for you.  If not, I am open to suggestions.  Keep in mind that I cannot offer a seminar on April 8, Easter Sunday, and that final exams begin on April 9, so there is the added issue of potential exam conflicts.  All seminars would be from 9 am to 9 pm (let's face it, more than likely until 10 pm) and will cost $40.  As these dates are only tentative, I am not ready to take registrations.

Calculus (Math 1500, 1510 and 1520)
Good Friday, April 6

Basic Stats 1 (Stat 1000)
Saturday, April 7

Linear Algebra (Math 1300)
Saturday, April 14
(I am really worried about this one since that is actually after the distance students write their exam on the 13th, but the classroom students don't write until the 21st; I am willing to offer the seminar on any other day from the 9th to the 12th if that is suitable.  I look forward to your input.)

Basic Stats 2 (Stat 2000)
