The hints coming from profs are that the Related Rates problem on the exam may be:

 

1. Just an x,y curve where you are given dx/dt and asked to find dy/dt or vice-versa.  Take a look at my Practise Problem 1 in Lesson 7 (page 201).

 

2. A cube where they are playing around with the volume and the surface area.  Take a look at my Practise Problem 8 in Lesson 7 (page 201).
