Did you miss the final exam prep seminar I did for Stat 1000 on Dec. 4?  Were you there but would like to listen to the seminar again?

 

You can purchase the entire 10+ hour seminar for $20+GST = $21.  You will receive a CD containing the entire seminar on MP3 files.

 

If you have my Basic Stats 1 study book (volume 2), you should have no problem following along with the audio lectures.  I would advise you don't get the lectures if you do not have the study book, though.

 

Of course, if you do not have my study book, you can order a copy at UMSU Digital Copy Centre at University Centre on the UM Fort Garry campus (same floor as the Book Store, but other end of the building).  Allow one business day between ordering and receiving the book.

 

So you can try before you buy, here is a link where you can download part 1 of the final exam seminar where I take you through Lesson 8 in my book (Confidence Intervals for the Mean).  This part of the lecture lasts about 1.5 hours:
