Audio teaching the first 3 lessons in my
Calculus for Management book
I will not be discussing these 3 lessons at the Calculus seminar this weekend, but Lessons 2 and 3 especially, are important lessons to study in preparation for your midterm exam (Cost and Revenue, Logs and Exponentials, and Interest problems).  Do note that I give these lessons as free samples of my book and audio.
Exam Quality Solutions of Limits (Lesson 4)
These two links are pdf files you can download where I demonstrate precisely what I would write if I were answering Examples 1 to 3 and Lecture Problems 1 to 14 on an exam.  Practice writing your solutions to limits the same way.

Exam Quality Solutions of Continuity (Lesson 5)
This link is a pdf file you can download where I give you the "template" how to check continuity at x=a.  Start every step exactly as I have written it (except replacing the "a" with the relevant number in your problem), then fill in the blanks with the specifics for your problem.

Midterm Exam Prep Seminar Feb. 20
My midterm exam prep seminar for Calculus will be Saturday, February 20.  It will be in Room 100, St. Paul's College at the UM campus.  The seminar runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  There will be breaks, including about a 40-minute break for lunch around 1:00.

The cost of the seminar is $40, and you pay at the door, cash or cheque.

I will be going through a selection of exam-like questions drawn from the relevant lessons in my Calculus for Management book, so please bring along a copy of the book to the seminar.  If you do not have a copy of my book, please download this handout which contains the questions I will discuss (I will not do every question in this handout, but will do as many as time allows):

More details about the seminar can be found here:
